Testing, Testing...

I'm posting from Dreamwidth again, and I have some queries for more hardened DW users...

First of all, how on earth do you post images?  I've tried cutting and pasting the HTML code into the image section, but the link appears to be blocked and all I get is a wee box with a red x in it.

And secondly, how do you search for friends using their usernames? 

Yes, you've guessed it.  I'm not very technically minded:-(

Pics wise, I find that copying and pasting the pics rather than using HTML works perfectly well and then I edit for size using their system.

Boxes at the top right of this 'ere page- the one that is headed 'interest? The drop down has a search for 'site and account'- I think that's the one.

I do my entries on the non fancy tab
and paste in the html from my flicker pictures.
i try to use a small picture chosen at the time.

when i try flipping back and forth between the html
and fancy page that's when my entry gets messed up.
