It's Snowing!!!

According to the Met Office, the snow showers were going to reach as far as west as Glasgow.

Methinks they miscalculated.  We're west of Glasgow, and this ain't a snow shower!  While it hardly constitutes a blizzard, the road's white already.

I don't need to get to work now, so for once it's not really an issue.  It is an inconvenience: we have no Christmas tree, and we have no Christmas pudding or brandy butter, and we have no chestnuts.  But Christmas is hardly cancelled on account of these inadequacies, is it?

And if I can't get to work on Monday. I don't even care about that, because if the worst comes the worst,  I can revise my report in the comfort of my own home, without the trauma of having to struggle in to see the archives.

For those of you who are forced to travel in this weather, stay warm, and stay safe!

As for myself?  I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

We're going out for a walk now.  There will, of course, be photographs...
