endlessraritiesIt MUST be springtime!!! I spotted my first bumblebee today. It was a queen, and she was skimming over our flowerbed. Hopefully she found a place to rest here over the winter...
Flowers are coming out all over the place. The primula that I dug up from my aunt's garden appeared today, and the daffodils are exploding into bloom everywhere. I'll take some photos tomorrow!
And work, once again, was a pleasure. We had to go indoors for a spell when the battery ran out, which was so frustrating, because it was so nice to be spending time outside.
Writers' Group last night was rather sad. Thanks to library cutbacks, it's going to be difficult to continue at Paisley Library. The library will be closing at 8pm, and we'll have to share our space with fellow library-users. Which may be difficult, when there's adult content involved in our work. So we'll probably be heading off to another location - one of the writers has offered the use of his home, which will be fine for the select few who regularly attend, but it won't help us get any new writers. Ah, well. TIme to move on, I suppose.
And now it's picture time. I abandoned Paisley Abbey prematurely, so I thought I'd post a photograph of a rather attractive carved stone hound which decorates one of the corbels:-

There are some lovely carvings in there, but my camera's not at all keen on taking pictures of them!
