(no subject)

One last trip to the fells now, with the highlights of our return trip from Sergeant Man.

We had ample opportunity to view Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark on our descent, so naturally I have to post another picture (just because I'll seize any excuse to do so):-

And as we left Blea Rigg and headed down from the fells, we encountered a very friendly local:-

It is of course one of the local Herdwick sheep, which are commonly encountered in the Lake District.

And eventually, we found our way back onto the beaten track, which provided us with a route back to civilisation, and the green - and comparatively - lush pastures of Grasmere and Easdale:-

Whatever the frustrations of your job are, you gotta admit: WOW. Okay, I admit, New England has great scenery too. But this is special. Love it. Thank you for all you do to share it with us!

Wow!

Oh what lovely pictures! So the sheep just wander around like that alone? Poor little guy!

The poor things often get savaged by visiting dogs mismanaged by useless tourists.
