It's official!

Scotland is experiencing its worst winter in 40 years!  And it's only the 8th of November!!!

At least this is one in the eye for the evil finch virus.  Every cloud has its silver lining...

It's an odd year. We're getting one of the wettest summers on record - I'd rather the rain (even with floods) than the bitter cold, to be honest. Although here it's December (Australia's just ahead of the rest of the world, though it's unkind of me to point it out.)

D'oh! I shall put this little mishap down to a combination of a) exhaustion, and b) the early stages of hypothermia (heh, it's as good an excuse as any!) and c) stress 'cos I couldn't go horse-riding...

How have you been managing? Your daily commute must have been utterly hurrendous...
