The Day Buildwas Wasn't...

Okay, so I was going to post some more pretty pictures of Buildwas Abbey today.  After wrestling with Photobucket for about an hour, I've given up in disgust, I'm afraid.  Tomorrow, perhaps.

A rewarding day at work.  I was supposed to be watching someone dig a drainage track for a house plot today.  They were asked to phone us when they were ready to start - by 11am I'd heard nothing, so I took a wee dander past the site and found - nothing!  It was like the Mary Celeste.

So I went back to the office and spent the day writing up my report on Thomas Telford instead.  Which was much more fun.

And then I was horse-riding with Diva.  Where I received the compliments of my teacher on how nice my position was.

Which makes a change...

I've now survived two minutes of the Time Team, before feeling compelled to switch it off.  I think I've had enough of archaeology for the day...
