More From Villa Rufolo

Okay, no heritage lecture tonight.  Well, not much in the way of a heritage lecture, anyway.  I thought I'd just wallow in pretty pictures of the Villa Rufolo.

Sanity has resumed in the office.  The Boss and Mrs Boss are back, the premises didn't fall down in their absence, we didn't flog off the finds on e-bay, so all's well.  I seem to have forgotten how to write a Data Structure Report (it's been almost a year since I last wrote one!) but hey-ho, I'm sure I'll get back into the swing of things soon enough...

And we had cake!  The Boss and I were both celebrating retrospective birthdays, so that was excuse enough to crack out the cake knife.  Needless to say, I knuckled under to some exercise when I came home - first time in almost a fortnight, thanks to my horrid sore throat from hell. 

Pretty picture time now, and I think I'll let the place speak for itself:-

 

Ah, I wish I was there.  Basking in the sunshine, slurping down an ice cream... 

Never mind.  I'll be in the Lakes soon.  I've looked out my Wainwright book, I've planned my next fell.  But I'm not sure how the weather's going to be just yet.  Fingers crossed!!
