Normality Resumes...

Hoorah!  The Boss is back next week!  I managed to just about keep things on track, despite my banishment to Galston for two days.  And I managed to avoid giving the company away to a stranger in exchange for a handful of magic beans and a cow with a crumpled horn...

It looks like we won't be scaling Goat Fell tomorrow.  The weather forecast is not good - a five hour walk in the howling wind and rain doesn't sound like fun to me, especially when the wind's a westerly and blowing straight in from the Atlantic...  Some other time then...

It's been a long week and I'm tired, so I'm not going to be doing much tonight. Over the weekend, I'll finish up with the Dorians, and introduce you to the site of Gortyn, and the amazing Law Code. 

Incidentally, I finally got around to visiting Project Gutenburg today.  I can download On Horsemanship by Xenephon!  I must put that on my 'To Read' list - I've always meant to see what the father of western Classical horsemanship had to say on the matter.
