Oh, you're much braver than me. I'm just glad I couldn't see it. I was blithely thinking it was just a teensy-little cut that needed a stitch to close it up. But my awfully nice doctor showed me in no uncertain terms what I'd managed to do to myself.
My husband pointed out that I'd probably suffered just as much poking during all the shennanigans with the local anaesthetic as I would have done getting the stitches...
