LJ Problems...

Is it just me, or is LiveJournal being impossible to work with at the moment?

I've had an action-packed couple of days, which hopefully I'll be able to share with you sooner rather than later...

And I'm posting this one Dreamwidth, in case you're wondering...

Ah... So you've missed all the drama over the DoS attack?

Yes, LJ has been more or less down due to enemy action for several days. All seems to be well now though.

I'm cmcmck on DW too and have been posting mostly over there since Sunday when this all kicked off.

It isn't just you, it's a concerted DDos attack and this is the first time I've been able to post for several days.

If it were just tech inadequacy I might check out the competition, but I'm damned if some bloody political DDOS attacker is going to dictate my use of technology. grrrrr.

So it was an attack? I thought it was just LJ having more problems than usual, and I can't comment half of the time anyway, Russians or not.

(To be precise, the comment section isn't down completely but often loading so slowly that I walk elsewhere; I have no patience with slow sites.)
